COLUMBUS — Ohio State has traded a Maserati for a Jett.

Several years after broadcaster Gus Johnson famously dubbed Marvin Harrison Jr. "Maserati Marv," the Buckeyes received a commitment from his younger brother, Jett Harrison, adding another member of one of football's most recognizable families to the program.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver announced his commitment Monday, choosing Ohio State over Penn State, Michigan and Tennessee. Harrison becomes the latest elite receiver to join Brian Hartline's receiver room, a position group that has consistently produced first-round NFL Draft picks.

While comparisons to his older brother are inevitable, Jett Harrison has established himself as one of the nation's premier receivers in his own right. A polished route runner with dependable hands and impressive body control, Harrison possesses many of the traits that made Marvin one of the country's top receivers, while also bringing his own style to the position.

His commitment also continues Ohio State's remarkable success recruiting elite wide receivers under Hartline. Few position coaches in college football have developed a stronger reputation, and Harrison's pledge only reinforces the Buckeyes' standing as one of the nation's premier destinations for top pass catchers.

The addition further strengthens an already outstanding 2027 recruiting class for Ryan Day and his staff. With elite talent continuing to arrive on both sides of the football, Ohio State remains firmly in the conversation for the nation's top recruiting class as the cycle enters its final months.
