CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers open their 2026-27 season Thursday night in Philadelphia, but before the regular season gets underway, the team is giving fans a look at how it prepared for the new campaign.
The Cavaliers released the first episode of Season 7 of their All-Access: The Road Back series Wednesday, titled Campo de Entrenamiento, taking viewers inside the team's training camp in Spain.
Cleveland held its training camp at The Embassy, a basketball training facility in Fuengirola, near Málaga, from September 30 through October 3. The trip concluded October 4 with a public scrimmage at Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Málaga.
The Embassy was developed by former NBA guard and current Cavaliers assistant general manager José Calderón and former Spanish national team player Berni Rodríguez. The facility provided Cleveland with a setting to work on conditioning, team chemistry, and preparations for the upcoming season.
The trip brought together a roster featuring Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, along with several offseason additions. After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last season, Cleveland enters the new campaign hoping to take another step toward an NBA championship.
The new episode gives fans a look at the Cavaliers' preparations overseas as the team begins another season with high expectations. Cleveland opens Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN before returning home Saturday to face the Brooklyn Nets.
