CINCINNATI — On the heels of several storms that rolled through the Tri-State area, Saturday night's match between FC Cincinnati and D.C. United was postponed due to concerns over the condition of the pitch.
"Due to pitch conditions and resulting player safety concerns created by inclement weather in the Cincinnati area, tonight's match between FC Cincinnati and D.C. United has been postponed," the club said in a statement.
A makeup date has not yet been announced. FC Cincinnati said fans who held tickets for Saturday night's match will receive reissued tickets that will be valid for the rescheduled contest.
What's Next: FC Cincinnati is scheduled to return to action Wednesday night when it visits Orlando City.
