CINCINNATI — FC Cincinnati has nine players representing national teams during the September/October FIFA international window, including six members of the first-team roster. The window began Sept. 21 and runs through Oct. 6 under a new international calendar that combined the traditional September and October breaks into one two-week period.
Miles Robinson, Pavel Bucha, Kévin Denkey, Andrei Chirila, Connor Dale and Samuel Gidi are the six first-team call-ups. Deiver Mosquera represents FC Cincinnati 2, while Nick Harris and Jahiel “JJ” Johnson were selected from the Academy. Gidi will remain with Cincinnati through the Sept. 26 match at CF Montréal before joining Slovakia’s U21 team; the club’s announcement did not list a similar delayed departure for the other five first-team players.
Miles Robinson joined the United States for a camp in Atlanta and four friendlies. The 41-cap defender and the USMNT face Peru on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 4:30 p.m. ET at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Fla., and Chile on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. ET at Energizer Stadium in St. Louis. The Peru match will air on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock; the Chile match will air on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo and Peacock.
The United States then plays Mexico on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., followed by Canada on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 8 p.m. ET at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn. The Mexico match will air on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. The Canada match will air on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo and Peacock.
Pavel Bucha returns to Czechia after making his senior debut in May and narrowly missing the country’s World Cup roster. Under new manager Santi Denia, Czechia will play four UEFA Nations League matches: Croatia on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 2:45 p.m. ET and England on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 2:45 p.m., both at Fortuna Arena in Prague; Spain on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 2:45 p.m. at Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Oviedo; and England on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 2:45 p.m. at Wembley Stadium in London.
Kévin Denkey, who has 14 goals in 48 senior appearances for Togo, begins qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Togo hosts Burundi on Friday, Sept. 25, at noon ET at Stade de Kégué in Lomé, then visits Zambia on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at noon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. Togo is grouped with Algeria, Zambia and Burundi, with the top two teams advancing.
Andrei Chirila is in Marbella, Spain, with the United States U19 team for the first camp under new head coach Rob Valentino. The Americans play Wales on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Banús Football Center, England on Friday, Oct. 2, at Marbella Football Center and Norway on Monday, Oct. 5, back at Banús Football Center. Kickoff times were not included in the club’s announcement.
Homegrown goalkeeper Connor Dale was selected for the United States U17 camp in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain, as the team prepares for the FIFA U17 World Cup in November. The 16-year-old and the U.S. face Scotland on Saturday, Sept. 26, the Netherlands on Tuesday, Sept. 29, Belgium on Thursday, Oct. 1, and France on Saturday, Oct. 3. All four friendlies will be played at Pintar Arena, and no kickoff times were announced.
Samuel Gidi will join Slovakia’s U21 team after Cincinnati’s match in Montréal. Slovakia visits England on Friday, Oct. 2, at 2:45 p.m. ET at bet365 Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, then plays at Andorra on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Estadi Nacional in Andorra la Vella. The matches are Slovakia’s final two qualifiers for the 2027 UEFA European U21 Championship.
FC Cincinnati 2 player Deiver Mosquera’s Colombia U19 assignment began earlier in September. Colombia trained in Bogotá from Sept. 7-12 before traveling to Argentina for the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games, defeating Peru 2-0 on Sept. 16 before losing 1-0 to Panama on Sept. 18 and 3-2 to Chile on Sept. 20.
Academy players Nick Harris and Jahiel “JJ” Johnson also completed national-team camps earlier in the month. Harris joined the United States U16 team and Johnson joined the U15s for concurrent camps from Sept. 10-17 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga.
The nine call-ups cover three senior national teams and six youth sides, with assignments stretching from North America to Europe and Africa. For FC Cincinnati, the immediate roster detail is Gidi’s availability in Montréal. For everyone following the international matches, the first kickoff involving a current first-team player comes Friday when Denkey and Togo host Burundi.
