COLUMBUS — Ohio State is preparing for another important road matchup, and the Buckeyes have released their latest game trailer ahead of Saturday's trip to Southern California.
Former Ohio State wide receiver Roy Hall narrates the trailer, which tells the story of warriors preparing for battle against the Trojans. The theme fits Saturday's matchup, with the Buckeyes traveling to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum looking to extend their winning streak.
Second-ranked Ohio State enters the contest at 6-1 overall and 4-0 in Big Ten play, having won five consecutive games since its narrow loss at Texas. The Buckeyes are coming off a bye week following their 19-15 victory over defending national champion Indiana on October 17.
USC enters at 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the conference after losing 24-7 at Wisconsin last Saturday. The Trojans will be looking to recover at home against an Ohio State team that remains firmly in the Big Ten championship race.
The Buckeyes also face uncertainty at quarterback following Julian Sayin's injury against Indiana. Luke Fahey and Tavien St. Clair have been competing for the starting job, with Ryan Day indicating that both quarterbacks could see action against USC.
Saturday will mark the first meeting between the programs since the 2017 Cotton Bowl and Ohio State's first visit to the Coliseum since 2008. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
