MIAMI GARDENS — The Cincinnati Bengals received some much-needed good news Sunday morning, as both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are officially active for today's 1 p.m. matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Chase cleared concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during last week's loss to Jacksonville, while Higgins recovered sufficiently from groin and neck injuries that also forced him out of the game. Both receivers returned to full participation in Friday's practice before being cleared for Sunday's contest.
The return of Cincinnati's top two receivers is a welcome development for quarterback Joe Burrow and a Bengals offense looking to rebound from consecutive losses. Cincinnati enters the game at 2-2, while Miami remains winless at 0-4. The Bengals will also welcome back safety Bryan Cook, who missed last week's game with an ankle injury, although receiver Colbie Young and safety Kyle Dugger remain sidelined.
