CLEVELAND — The Browns are having a miserable afternoon offensively against the Baltimore Ravens, trailing 10-0 at halftime at Huntington Bank Field.
Baltimore controlled the opening quarter, scoring on a two-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Huntley to Josh Cuevas and adding a 34-yard field goal from Tyler Loop. The Ravens moved the ball with relative ease early, while Cleveland struggled to get anything going offensively.
The Browns' defense has settled down considerably since the opening quarter, keeping Baltimore off the scoreboard in the second. That improvement has given Cleveland an opportunity to stay in the game, but its offense has done little to take advantage.
Deshaun Watson and the Browns have struggled to sustain drives, and Cleveland has yet to mount a serious scoring threat. The absence of starting running back Quinshon Judkins hasn't helped an offense that has been unable to establish any rhythm.
Cleveland will need a much better offensive performance in the second half if it hopes to get back into this AFC North matchup. The defense has done its part to keep the game close, but the Browns cannot afford another half of offensive struggles if they expect to win.
