CLEVELAND — The Browns’ latest win over Pittsburgh had just about everything you would expect from an AFC North rivalry game.
Cleveland released a new mini-movie titled “Rivalry Renewed” following its 27-24 victory over the Steelers on Thursday Night Football. The video revisits the biggest moments from a game that featured an early Pittsburgh lead, a three-touchdown second quarter from Cleveland, a late Steelers comeback, and a 56-yard game-winning field goal with 10 seconds remaining.
The Browns trailed 7-0 after the first quarter before taking control in the second. Jaleel McLaughlin scored on a 28-yard run, Quinshon Judkins added a 2-yard touchdown, and Harold Fannin Jr. caught a 2-yard scoring pass from Deshaun Watson as Cleveland built a 21-10 halftime lead.
Pittsburgh eventually erased that advantage in the fourth quarter, tying the game at 24 with 1:42 remaining. Watson then led Cleveland 36 yards on seven plays to give Andre Szmyt a chance from 56 yards.
Szmyt delivered with 10 seconds left, and Grant Delpit intercepted Aaron Rodgers on Pittsburgh’s final possession to finish off Cleveland’s third consecutive victory.
The mini-movie adds the sideline sound, crowd reaction, and behind-the-scenes perspective that a standard highlight package cannot provide. For a rivalry game decided in the final seconds, there was plenty for the Browns’ cameras to capture.
As you’ll see, Cleveland’s latest chapter against Pittsburgh was not short on drama:
