CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals placed tight end Erick All Jr. on injured reserve Tuesday following a knee injury suffered during Sunday's 35-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the injury is believed to be a torn ACL, which would end All's 2026 season.
The injury is another setback for the 26-year-old Fairfield native, who missed the entire 2025 season recovering from a torn ACL suffered against the Las Vegas Raiders in November 2024. All also tore his right ACL during his final college season at Iowa in 2023, meaning another confirmed tear would be his third.
All was injured during the third quarter against Baltimore and did not return. He had caught three passes for 26 yards before leaving the contest.
The former fourth-round draft pick returned to action this season after missing nearly two full years of football. Through six appearances, he recorded eight receptions for 56 yards as part of Cincinnati's tight end rotation.
The Bengals also announced Tuesday that they signed tight end Cam Grandy off the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. Grandy previously spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with Cincinnati before being waived following training camp this summer.
With All joining Tanner Hudson on injured reserve, the Bengals will rely on Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, rookie Jack Endries, and Grandy at tight end.
Cincinnati has not publicly confirmed the severity of All's injury, but another ACL tear would bring his comeback season to a premature end.
And it also begs the question, if the injury is indeed season-ending, why All wasn't wearing a knee brace after blowing out his knee for three consecutive years prior to this one. That seems bonkers and selfish and absurd. I'm sorry, I'm encroaching on opinion when this is just a news report. Stay tuned to Ohio Sports Hub for this developing story before I say something I'll later regret. Ol' Frank's a little hot right now.
