CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals needed overtime to secure their third consecutive victory Sunday, and afterward, head coach Zac Taylor gathered his players in the locker room to celebrate a wild 43-36 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Cincinnati overcame a 13-0 first-quarter deficit and later rallied from seven points down in the final minutes of regulation. Joe Burrow found Tee Higgins for an 18-yard touchdown with 1:17 remaining to tie the game before scoring the winner himself on a nine-yard run in overtime.
Burrow finished with 462 passing yards and five touchdown passes, adding the winning rushing touchdown to complete one of the most productive performances of his career. Higgins caught 10 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns, while Ja'Marr Chase added 11 receptions for 141 yards and another score.
The victory was hardly flawless. Burrow threw three interceptions, Cincinnati committed four turnovers, and the Bengals surrendered 36 points to a Tennessee team that entered the afternoon with just one win. But Cincinnati overcame those mistakes and improved to 5-2.
Following the game, Taylor addressed his players in the locker room as the Bengals celebrated another comeback victory before turning their attention to next Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid, Spain:
