CLEVELAND — Another week, another dramatic victory for the Cleveland Browns, and another locker room celebration led by head coach Todd Monken.
Cleveland overcame an early 14-0 deficit Sunday afternoon to defeat the Tennessee Titans, 27-24, on Andre Szmyt's 32-yard field goal as time expired. It was the second consecutive week Szmyt delivered a last-second winner, improving the Browns to 5-2 and keeping them atop the AFC North.
The Browns got two rushing touchdowns from Quinshon Judkins and a big day from KC Concepcion, who finished with 129 receiving yards. Deshaun Watson also had his best passing performance of the season, throwing for more than 300 yards and adding a 9-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Afterward, Monken addressed his players in the locker room, presenting Watson with a game ball for another winning performance. Watson credited the entire team for its effort, emphasizing the importance of sticking together through difficult moments.
The Browns have now won five games, including two straight decided on the final play. For a team that continues finding ways to win close contests, Sunday's celebration was another reminder of how far Cleveland has come under Monken:
